  1. Tips For a Beautiful Smile

  2. # Brush 2×2 - Always use fluoride toothpaste to brush your teeth, at least twice a day (2 times 2 minutes). This will give you whiter and brighter smile with fresh breath and keep your gums healthy .

  3. # Defend yourself with floss- Floss in the spaces between your teeth. Flossing your teeth on a regular basis will help in getting rid of plaque , keep your gums safe and healthy, reduces the risk of cavities and reduces bad breath.

  4. # Use Antiseptic Mouthwash- To remove germs that cause cavities and gum disease, rinse with an antiseptic mouthwash. By preventing plaque from forming around the teeth, antiseptic mouthwash may help avoid infection.

  5. # What you eat determines who you are - Make nutritious food choices. Nutritious, low-sugar food is beneficial to oral and general health. Dental hygienists urge us to eat a healthy, balanced diet so that our teeth and gums get the nutrients they need to stay healthy. Ask your dental hygienist to recommend healthier food and beverage options during your routine checkup so that your smile lasts a lifetime.

  6. # Keep your pearly whites protected- We put on pads to protect our shins on the soccer field. Gloves are worn inside the boxing ring to cover our fists. Same way to protect your pearly whites wear a mouthguard while playing sports. Your dentist can make you a custom one if required.

  7. # Quit Smoking- Make the decision to quit smoking. Tobacco use can stain your teeth and raise your chances of developing oral cancer.

  8. # Sealants- Do you want your child to avoid cavities? Inquire with your dental hygienist about pit and fissure sealants for your kid.

  9. # Examine - Once a month, examine your mouth. Understand what constitutes normalcy. If you have a sore that does not heal within two weeks, see a doctor.

  10. # Reconsider Your Beverage- Cavities are more likely to form if you drink sweetened drinks or acidic fluids. Make water your beverage of choice.
