  5. Global Warning The polar bear will be the first animal to become endangered

  6. Ways to reduce global warning • Replace a regular incandescent light bulb with a compact fluorescent light bulb • Clean or replace filters on your furnace and air conditioner • Move your thermostat down 2° in winter and up 2° in summer • Defrost old fridges and freezers regularly

  7. Ways to reduce global warning • Wrap your water heater in an insulation blanket • Cover your pots while cooking • Use the washing machine or dishwasher only when they are full • Use a clothesline instead of a dryer whenever possible

  8. AIRPOLLUTION Global Warning is gradually increasing in the earth's surface temperature

  9. Recycling To produce plastic 300 cubic feet of natural gas, 2 cups of crude oil and 24 gallons of water are used. Plastic is so durable, that it will take about a million years to decompose in landfills.
