  2. Historical Taxis “Taxi, please!” Taxis are such a common sight and an essential part of many New Yorkers’ lives. However, not many know how much the taxi has changed over the years. I wonder why taxis used to look like they were in the past and why they needed to be changed. It is possible that the old taxis’s design was styled in the same way that many other cars of that time period used to have. Just look at those headlights! Taxis today have a lot of practical aesthetics. Nothing is really special about a New York City taxi found today, but they fulfill all our needs, especially the need to get to your destination.

  3. Everlasting Bridges Fulfilling their purpose, the bridges still stand tall and tough. They continue connecting the different parts of the city, overcoming the natural barriers. The bridge’s beauty is expressed in its practicality rather than its aesthetics. But as a whole, especially when looking from afar, its radiance represents the foundation of the beauty of New York. Unlike much of the rest of New York City, bridges do not necessarily need to adapt to the changing world. However, perhaps in the near future, bridges will evolve into something new.

  4. We are going Shoutout to the MTA for keeping New York City running as fast as ever! Taking a subway seems so banal but that is nothing to forget about. We have been using this service to connect people from the farthest reaches of New York City. Our dependence goes so far as for the city to stop running when the MTA stopped as a result of Hurricane Sandy. Even with how much we cry about the MTA not being perfect, we will never forget about how key the subway system is in our lives.
