Why cps?

  • Promote life long skills
  • Provide a planning team of educators
  • Provide a huge impact on classroom success

  • Once a week for 30 to 45 minutes (half from class, half from computer lab)
  • Lesson skills learned during this time improve classroom team activities and problem solving

  • Students are grouped across or within grade levels in tribes/groups of 4-5 members
  • They are members for the duration of the year
  • Time must be spent teaching and modeling:
  • Listen to all ideas before you speak
  • Trial and error are important
  • Reflection and revision are part of learning

Two or three teachers who are willing to team with you and work out a time to have students meet. You are essentially an educator tribe!
