Come to Cat’s lounge hour to discuss everything about Britain~ topics will include music, media, fashion, national characteristics and FOOD! You can ask her for British recipes, recommendations on British music and more! 영국에서의 생활을 궁금해 해 본적이 있나요? 언젠가는 가보고 싶나요? Cathryn 선생님의 라운지 아워에 와서 영국에 대한 모든 것을 이야기해봅시다. 주제는 음악, 미디어, 패션, 국민성 그리고 음식을 모두 포함할 것입니다. 선생님에게 영국 음식 레시피, 영국 음식 추천 등을 물어볼 수 있습니다!

Come learn what to do (and what not to do!) when travelling to other countires, and discuss your views on culture and customs, here and abroad. 외국에서 살아본 적이 있나요? 언젠가는 외국에 살 계획이 있나요? 다른 나라에서 사는 방법에 대해서 더 알고 싶나요? Discuss the most up-to-date topics in the news, in English, with Dana every week. You can bring your own articles in Korean and translate them to the group if you’d like, and there will be various articles provided to discuss. Let’s keep ourselves “in the know” together! 뉴스에 나오는 것들에 대해서 충분히 안다고 생각하나요? 더 배우고 싶나요? 매주Dana 선생님과 함께 최신 뉴스에 대해서 토의해 봅시다. 토의하기 위해 주어진 다양한 기사들이 제공되며, 한국어로 된 기사를 직접 가져오거나 번역을 해와도 됩니다. 우리 함께 최신 뉴스에 대해 알아보는 시간을 가집시다.

  8. Buddhism in English Thursday @ 4pm: With David Watermeyer Come learn and share some ideas and history about Buddhism in English!! It doesn’t matter what religion or age you are, this will be an interesting hour of discussion. David Watermyer would like to explore Buddhism with you and speak of experiences and information regarding Buddhism.   9. Friday @ 1pm: Discovering Poetry With Jennifer Howell Think poetry is boring? Think again! In this hour we will read and understand some of the world's most fun and exciting poetry, and we will also write and play with poetry. From the children's poems of Robert Louis Stevenson, to short forms like haiku, from Edgar Allen Poe's story poems to e.e. cummings' love poems, we will explore a wide gamut of poetry in English. Then, by learning simple techniques and games, we'll write our own. If students attend regularly and there is enough interest, we may be able to publish a small magazine of our work at the end of term. Students may come for one or many sessions. It is recommended that your English level is C or higher, but all students are welcome. 시의 발견: 시가 지루하다고요? 다시 한번 생각해보세요! 이 시간에는 세계에서 가장 재미있고 신나는 시들을 읽고 이해할 것입니다. 그리고 시를 쓰고 시를 가지고 놀기도 할 것입니다.
