(морській річкові порти) Миколаїв Одеса • Strengths of Vinnytsia region • Distance from Kyiv - 260 km • Distance from the seaports, which have access to the Mediterranean Sea is not considerable (Odesa - 430 km, Mykolaiv - 465 km, Kherson - 533 km) • The region has an extensive railway network - 1124 km as well as roads of national and local importance – 9524 km. • There are three main pipelines in oblast: “Urengoy - Pomary - Uzhgorod", "Soiuz", "Dashava – Kyiv”, which supply natural gas to the EU countries. 202 kilometers of the state border with Republic of Moldova and neighborhood with 7 regions of Ukraine create favorable conditions for the region’s economy development Vinnytsia region– centre of Ukraine AICof Vinnytsia region : Region’s agricultural area is more than 2 million hectares including 1,7 million hectares of ploughed lands; Region holds the 9th position according to area of agricultural lands; 6.4% of Ukraine’s gross agricultural product is producing in the region; Grain direction with technical crops growing, developed meat and milk husbandry are main directions of the region’s AIC
