Essential Tomato Seed Saving Guide: Step-by-Step Instructions

DESCRIPTION

Learn how to save tomato seeds with these easy instructions. Start by labeling each batch, then cut the tomatoes and squeeze the seeds into a strainer, mashing the gel coat against the mesh. After emptying onto copier paper, allow the seeds to dry for three weeks before processing. Make sure to remove all pulp and store only clean, dry seeds. Use resealable bags for storage, label them clearly, and keep them in a cool, dry place. Properly stored seeds can last for years, ensuring a plentiful harvest every season.
