Purpose CardFive SDK was created to address Card printing requirements to system integrators for New vertical application development; Integration in existing systems With CardFive SDK the integrator: • avoids large development work by providing an interface into a working system; • reduces development time and costs • integrates development done by professional expertes on card printing market.

Compliance CardFive SDK is compatible with: CardFive 6.2 or higher • CardFive design objects • Same printers as CardFive • Biometric devices, Contactless chip encoders, Image acquisition The current SDK build is known to work with the following programming environments: • Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 • Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 • Microsoft Visual Studio .NET • Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 • Borland Delphi 7 • Borland C++ Builder 6 • Borland C# Builder 1 Personal Other environments that can load DLLs or use ActiveX controls, as long as it is recognized by our licensing system. Languages available: English, French, German, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish

KeyPoints • Integrator must design a “container” application • The SDK includes a CardFive Designer for integrator use and create card layout that will be used at the application • End user is limited to these card layouts provided by the integrator • SDK is not a royalty free application - Integrator needs a “runtime license” to distribute the SDK features with its application

  5. Contents CardFive SDK installation include: CardFive SDK Designer CardFive SDK Designer is a special Edition only available at SDK package. With this edition, integrator can : - create and design card layouts for integration, using all CardFive tools except printing CardFive SDK Help File - technical documentation & programming samples Help you to integrate the SDK in your own application. Runtime Files – Tool to organize the redistribution files. Open the application and select the destination folder. All the needed files will be copied to that directory. Card Browser – Tool to browse cards Open the application and select the directory where you have your cards stored

Run time Package Run Time package includes: • 1 Reader • 1 Runtime license The Run time license can be personalized by the integrator or user, by printing design or adding specific codes for protections and licensing. The Run Time package can also be personalized to be used at the application distribution.

Extras KeyFive Developer Station is bundled with full CardFive SDK package for developer to use for: • Protection against piracy • Add licensing features to its software • Keep encrypted files with product listings and card tracking • Establish logins for access and perform control against intruders using your application without permission • Upgrades and licensing using RLL technology (exe file delivered by email) • Do easy, fast, controlled and low cost replacements for damaged material

Training & Support Support Number Five will provide Technical Support by email (support@nfive.com) for all CardFive SDK users.Each CardFive SDK includes 6 months free support (starting on package shipping). Training CardFive SDK training is available according to specific conditions and is provided by SDK dedicated professionals with programming environments knowledge and SDK tools integration.
