Enhancing Campus Life: Improving Student Lounges at Salt Lake Community College

Our Student Lounge Efficiency Group, led by Wendy Knowlton, Vanessa Robinson, and Matt Zoellner, is advocating for better lounges on campus for students to study, relax, and eat healthy. We aim to enhance student experience by requesting designated lounge areas in each building at the Taylorsville campus. These lounges will be equipped with microwaves, plastic-ware, power options, study and dining areas, pay-per-use massage chairs, and phone charging bays. Help us make a positive change on campus!

  4. In order to make our campus more appealing for students to relax, and have healthy options we are requesting a change/addition to the lounges located throughout campus.

  5. We are proposing that each building on the Taylorsville campus have a designated lounge area that is equipped with:

  7. Plastic-ware

  8. More Power Options

  9. APlace for Studying and Eating

  10. Massage Chairs (pay-per-use)

  11. Phone Charging Bays
