Banking Services: Savings • Unit Objective: • Given the topic, Savings, to be able to identify transactions and maintain a savings account for the duration of this unit; recording entries daily with no more than one transaction error per week. • Lesson Objective: • In class, students will be able to discuss banks and the services they provide, identifying at least three types of services. • Presentation Need Addressed: • Provides students with an photo of a local bank in the community to associate material with. • Provides the students with visual stimulation/interest in the topic. • Image is used to provide an introductory starting point to the lesson that begins covering new material in this Unit.
