In this engaging lesson, students will explore the comprehension strategy of visualizing to enhance their understanding of texts. They will learn to apply the "sketch to stretch" technique using Word Paint instead of traditional paper sketches. By visualizing descriptions and events in texts, students will articulate how this strategy improves comprehension. Additionally, they will compare and contrast their interpretations of the text with those of their ePals from another school. Finally, students will reflect on their experiences by blogging their responses in their online journals.
