Final Exam Week • Mon, Dec. 14th Practice Final Exam Key • Tues, Dec. 15th Final Exam (Part 1); m/c ?’s 100 pts; all classes; Restroom Passes Due • Wed, Dec. 16th Final Exam (Part 2); (Per 1,3,5) 10 FRQ’s; 100 pts. • Thur, Dec. 17th Final Exam (Part 2); (Per 2,4,6) 10 FRQ’s; 100 pts. • Friday, Dec. 18th Non-Student Day

  4. Final Exam (Part 1) • Tues, Dec. 15th Final Exam (Part 1) (All Periods) • 53 min period; #2 pencil, show work, calc ok • 50 m/c ?’s x 2 pts.= 100 pts. • Must complete Part 1 by end of class period. • Unused Restroom Passes due at beginning of your class period. No late passes accepted!

Final Exam (Part 1) • Specific content areas: • Metric conversions • Density calculations • Molar mass calculations • Writing chemical formulas • Atomic number & atomic mass (#p, #n, #e) • Polarity (using EN values) • Lewis Dot Diagrams (ionic vs. covalent bond) • Lab questions will be covered.

  6. Final Exam (Part 2) • Wed, Dec. 16th Final Exam (Part 2) (Period 1, 3, 5) • Thurs, Dec. 17th Final Exam (Part 2) (Period 2, 4, 6) • 75 min period; #2 pencil, calc ok. • 10 short answer ?’s x 10 pts = 100 pts.

  7. Final Exam (Part 2) • Specific content areas: • Gram<>mole<>atom conversions • Electron configuration (Aufbau diagram) • Percentage composition • Balancing & classifying equations • Stoichiometry (mole:mole & mass:mass) • Gas Laws (Boyle, Charles, Comb., Ideal)
