Breaking Down/Absorption:to break down food and drinks you consume, so your body can get the nutrients and sugars it needs. Gas Exchange: to let the oxygen in and release the carbon dioxide out. Transport: to carry needed materials to the cells, and carry waste away from the cells. Waste Removal:to filter blood to remove waste from your body Command Center:to control the body’s activities and tell it what to do
