  3. Ram • 256 KB of which 150 were already used by the computer (Mac) • 64KB machines were the most common.

  5. Input devices • The first mouse and MAC

  6. Modem speeds • Typical Dial-up modem speed in 1984 was 300 baud • The high end was 9600 baud

  7. Operating systems • MS DOS • DR DOS • TRS DOS • Lisa OS • Mac OS

  8. Business software • Lotus 123 • Word Perfect • Power point Not one of these was a Microsoft program.
