Public Database for Product Recall • Functions of the public database • Collect product quality information from consumers, producers, insurance companies and etc.; • Publish recall announcement in order to notify the product defects to the consumers; • Analyze the information related to product defects and produce statistic forms and reports regularly. • Recall Information published by the database • Name of the producer; • Name, identification (for example lot number) and amount of the products; • Description of the defects; • Potential risks and damages; • Measures to eliminate the risks or to fix the defects; • Measures to notify the consumers;
