Here are some of the latest real estate investment opportunities, ranging from low- maintenance to high-maintenance. 1.Buying REITs is one of the best ways to invest in real estate (real estate investment trusts) Real estate investment trusts (REITs) allow you to invest in real estate without owning the property. They're firms that buy commercial real estate, such as office buildings, shopping spaces, apartments, hotels, and are also compared to mutual funds. REITs aim to pay high dividends, making them a popular retirement fund.
