  1. Cloud Security Startup Palerra Launches New Partner Program, Looks to Grow Channel Business By Sarah Kuranda September 30, 2015 Summary Notes of Article: Palerra is a cloud security automation startup. They’ve announced the launching of a new partner program to grow its channel business. They’ve created a security platform named LORIC, with the intention of helping companies automate the process they use for detecting threats, incident response, analytics and more around cloud and SaaS offerings. In April, they were able to land $17 million in Series B funding. Palerra’s new channel program is now available and consists of a two-tiered program with a discount structure that awards additional margin for deal registration. Simeio Solutions is a service provider that has been in partnership with Palerra for the last year. Their VP of business development, Darren Calman, said this new program will complement their platform and enable them to have a better relationship with their clients. Palerra’s senior director of business development, Sebastian Rovira, stated they expect to make their channel business grow. The company will start to look for partners, especially managed security service providers and partners focusing on cloud applications and cloud services. They haven’t really established a limit of partners, since they’re focusing more on finding those who are willing to learn the product deeply.
