BW Citations Client: Occidental Chemical Corporation Time line: Start: January 2000 Go-Live: January 2001 Project Description: PricewaterhouseCoopers was engaged by OxyChem (a division of Occidental Chemical Corporation) to conduct an iAnalytics project. The project consisted of two parts. The first part was a strategic change effort centered on defining a set of balanced performance measures and scorecards for the corporate entity, the two major business groups, Basic Chemicals and OxyVinyls, (this included all business units and production facilities for each group) as well as, the support functions associated with the corporate center. The second part was a data warehousing effort (using SAP’s Business Information Warehouse product) to provide OxyChem executives and managers with tools to support the balanced scorecards and meet the analytical reporting capabilities of plant and business management.
