  2. ACCIDENT REPORTING 5.6.2 Accident investigations Any accident involving a fatality or serious injury must be reported to the National Sporting Authority, which is required to inform the FIA accordingly.

ACCIDENT REPORTING • FIA President should be informed urgently of any fatal or very serious • accident occurring in events of the FIA Championships. • To enable this one of the officials delegated by the FIA, in the following • order of precedence according to which are present: • 1st FIA Observer; • 2nd FIA Safety Delegate; • 3rd FIA Race Director; • 4th FIA Chief Steward, • sending an SMS message immediately to the • FIA President +41 788 822 888. • 2) Followed up with an e-mail as soon as possible giving a more detailed • report to the following addresses: • jtodt@.fia.com • jberger@fia.com

INVESTIGATION IN CZ According to Czech regulations we must make the commission consisted of: Chairman of Stewards (or CZ Steward) Chief Scrutinneer Chief Safety Officer The same day of accident - all investigation. After it is complete, Chairman will finish the rally After the rally is putting alltogether and send to ASN with filled report. ASN sent the report to FIA.

INVESTIGATION Reports attached to the Accident report: - Report from Rally Control - Time consequences of the accident - Eye-witness statements (marshal(s)) - Chief medical officer report - Rescue team / Fire brigades report - FIA Technical delegate / Scrutinneers report (including drawing and measures) - Report from Chairman of Stewards - Report of Safety delegate - Chief of SS / Safety officer of SS - Chief Safety Officer report

INVESTIGATION • Papers: • - Part from safety plan concerning that place • - Scan of entry from of driver concerned, licences, medical card, insurance, etc. • Photos: • All homologations (helmets, belts, cage) • Car, place around the accident, braking track, etc. • Videos: • Videos from Eye-witness • ONB video from the rally car involved ! • ONB videos from other drivers • GPS datas • - Track, Speed, Also other cars in the same place

  7. ADVICES • Behaviour: • Let only few people speaking. Medical delegate / press officer / CoC • Flow of information • The best is to make special press conference where CoC, or sb else make clear statement with not allowing of media of posing extra questions. • Car: • It is good to keep vehicle as ASN / if Police will not keep. • Place of accident: • Use tape to allow medical people, police, etc working in piece. And also for not giving the possiblity to „bad thinking“ people of taking pictures and videos.
