  4. SENIOR REQUIREMENTS CP English 12 / AP Lit. & Comp. CP/AP Government Economics Choose classes to meet your career goals Must be enrolled in 4 classes per term (unless on track to meet a-g reqs.) Be sure to sign up for classes that you need to MAKE UP!!! Support Classes include: Critical Reading & Writing (Placement based on ELA score on the Exit Exam) 5

SOPHOMORE REQUIREMENTS CP English 10 / Honors English 10 World Studies / AP European History Math P.E. 10 Science 1st attempt at the California High School Exit Exam during Spring Term Support Classes include: English Lab, Math Lab (Placement based on assessment results and teacher referral) 7

  7. Course Selection Worksheet READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Write in your 8 course selections (required) Write in 4 elective alternates (required) Write in Make-Up Classes or important information under Comments/Notes Go ONLINE (Homelink) and enter your course selections before the deadline of 8:00 am on Monday, Feb. 4th(see instructions handout or online at http://www.rosevilletigers.org) Counselors will be meeting with all students individually in February and March to review course requests and make any needed changes. 8

  9. Special Considerations AP CLASSES are rigorous and require extra time for studying and homework. Consider all your time commitments (i.e. sports, extra-curricular activities, employment) when choosing the number of AP courses. Alternates are needed and should be chosen carefully as they may be placed in your schedule. 10

Please read course descriptions in the catalog or talk to teachers for further information.

Registration Materials Collection and Review Monday, February 4th- turn in two things (during 2nd period) Completed/Signed Course Selection Sheet & 4-Yr Planner Completed Emergency Card with NEXT YEARS Grade Level Counselors will meet with students one-on-one beginning February 7th to review transcript, Course Selection Sheet/4-Yr Planner and make any needed changes or corrections. If you have questions, see a counselor in the Cafeteria during lunch Friday, January 25th, Monday, January 28th and Friday, February 1st. 12

  12. SUMMERBlended-Learning Program RHS expects you to enroll and attend summer Credit Recovery if you did not pass a required class. Applications will be available during counselor meetings in February and March. Summer classes will be a “blend” of online and on-site meetings with teachers. 13

  13. Dates to Remember… Fri. & Mon., Jan. 25th – 28th, & Fri., Feb. 1st: Counselors in Cafeteria at lunch to answer questions. Monday, February 4th (8:00am): Deadline for course selections to be completed online. Monday, February 4th: Turn in completed Course Selection Sheet / 4-Year Planner Emergency Card February 7th – March: One-on-one meetings with counselors to review course planning. 14
