This week's reviews focus on RFCC, RF Power Infrastructure, MICE Infrastructure, and LH2 systems. The RFCC module is in good shape for manufacturing cavities and vacuum vessels. Key actions include ensuring common tolerances for cooling channels, with Andy Moss preparing a system configuration plan. The MICE team hasn’t progressed as needed, and the LH2 system faces risks due to stalled R&D hardware for over six months. Urgent intervention is required for scientific contracts, and indecision on control systems is hindering progress across multiple projects.

Subsystem Reviews • Reviews this week: • RFCC modules • RF Power Infrastructure • MICE Infrastructure • LH2 system
Observations & Actions • RFCC module: • In very good shape – in strong position for manufacture of cavities and vac-vessel • Need to make sure that all cooling channel elements have common tolerance and dimension pattern for flange hole PCDs – Wing to organise • RF Power Infrastructure • Andy Moss will prepare plan of the system configuration within one month for approval within MICE, then submit to external experts for comment • RAL team must start to look at integrating amplifiers and stuff at RAL - action Tim
Observations & actions • MICE Infrastructure • Hadn’t taken place before I wrote this! • LH2 system • I believe our biggest worry: • R&D hardware has been stalled for > six months • Mike & Matt to intervene urgently with AS Scientific and RAL contracts • Indecision over control system philosophy has clearly stalled HAZOP review schedule • So yet more meetings to address the above • Really have to make sure the right people attend • Real problem here is inability to work in parallel with Decay solenoid and FC projects
