  2. What Happened/Lessons Learned • Volunteers were ready, but communities weren’t • We tried to push things too quickly • We need to work with Village Health Workers in the communities to help make things happen • We need to start early

  3. Future Initiatives • “Traem Bakegen” (Try it again!) • Look at the “seasonal calendar” to make sure that our timing is right • Think about sites where there will still be a volunteer next year, or else a Village Health Worker to encourage the community to keep going with the training • Have the Bislama manuals ready to go
