  1. June 11th Summer Safety Day 2007 Post Motorcycle Ride Who – Any civilian or military rider who lives, works or rides on Fort Rucker, any type of bike and any experience level. What – A 32 mile on-post ride in one big formation; a column of 2’s staggered. When – 1430 hours, June 11th to 1645 hours. Where – Meet at the Post Chapel at 1430 hours. -1430-1500 Route, hand and arm signals and a Safety briefing. -1500-1529 Buddy-bike inspections and organize for the ride. -1530- 1630 Ride on post in one big formation. -1630 End the ride at Post HQs, line-up on the street in front of HQs. -1631-1635 Rev-up our pipes and shake the windows of the post HQs. -1636-1645 Remarks and review of bikes and riders. -1645 Turn-on some music, eat BBQ (Larry’s on a bun) and check-out the bikes on the line-up of bikes parked on Novosel Street. Why -- To promote motorcycle safety awareness, show our post leaders that we are many and safe, and to increase post rider camaraderie.
