CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS • Prompt and Prepared • Accept Responsibility • Work Hard • Show Respect
PROCEDURES • Bring all necessary materials to class • Math Folder • Pencil • Homework • AMG (Awesome Math Guide)
PROCEDURES • “SHOW YOUR PAWS” • Eyes on speaker • Quiet • Be still • Hands free • Listen • Turn in homework, late/corrected work, and in-class work when and where indicated by teacher.
PROCEDURES • Absent • Your responsibility to pick up missed work from the folder (back of room). • Restroom • Go during your passing period! If it is an emergency, you must sign out before leaving the room and take a pass with you. Passes should be worn around your neck and not carried. • No Gum • Cell Phones • Keep them put away in your backpack. • Place them in designated area when you enter the room. • Pick up at the end of class. • Drinks • Water only; clear bottles
PROCEDURES • Place backpack on your wall hook and leave there for the whole class period. • Before leaving class, clean up the area around your desk. • When the dismissal bell rings, remain seated until the teacher dismisses you.
Grades • Grade Percentages • Daily Work = 60% • Test/Quiz = 40% • Homework • As assigned.
CORRECTIONS/RETAKES • If a student receives a grade lower than a 70, the student or parent can request the opportunity to redo the assignment/test within three days after the original grade is posted. When a student redoes an assignment/test, the original grade will be averaged with the redone grade for the final grade, not to exceed a grade of 70 (District Policy). • Example • Original Grade = 40 • Correction Grade = 80 • New Grade = (80 + 40 = 120; 120/2 ) 60
