  8. Opportunity: Bus Rapid Transit • Bus Rapid Transit provides express bus services through neighborhoods. Bus Rapid Transit • Is scheduled to come to the South Bronx in 2013. .

  15. Opportunity: 174th Street Greenstreet Native Planting – Additional Trees - Benches – Fence Art – Bicycle/Skateboarding Lanes

  17. Vision After: 174th St. can be modified to become an open, pedestrian thoroughfare which connects the community and the river.

  18. Conclusion Grants and other funding streams can make these improvements easier to implement in the Bronx River Community.
