Animals of The Rainforests Spider monkeys live in the lower canopy area.They have pads on the bottom of their tails to help them grip the branch so they swing better.They eat fruits.Squirel monkeys live in the upper canopy.They can reach fruits without breaking the branches or falling.There are more than 20 species of piranah in the world.Most are plant eaters but the redbelly piranah.The redbelly piranah eats meat they attack in schools if they smell blood.

People use bamboo’s stems and young shoots.It is used for construcktion, weaving, and paper making.It is the worlds longest grass.
