Information on CLAT for aspirants CLAT Eligibility Candidates should have not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and persons with Disability) in Higher Secondary School / Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination. No age restriction for appearing in CLAT. Provisional appearance in the qualifying examination is allowed only when there is a possibility of submission of the proof of having passed the qualifying examination, along with the marksheet, before or at the time of admission. Questions are asked on the central theme of the passage. Grammar will be given emphasis. Questions like fill in the blanks, correction of incorrect grammatical sentences, word meanings etc are asked in the exam. General Knowledge & Current Affairs Syllabus: This course comprises of questions from both static and dynamic G.K. Generally questions are asked mainly from the recent events which took place in the past one year. Mathematics (Numerical Ability) Syllabus: The questions from this section are mainly from the secondary and higher secondary level of mathematics. Legal Aptitude Syllabus: This section is by far the most intricate and difficult one. The questions which are framed on some hypothetical legal propositions are to be answered accordingly. Logical Reasoning Syllabus: Apart from the visual reasoning questions, this section comprises of almost the whole any logical reasoning syllabus asked in the other exam.
