  3. It’s the Law. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires accessibility to those with disabilities. APS may be necessary to provide this access at certain locations. It’s a design standard (or soon will be). Current CA MUTCD ADAAG Design Guidelines for Public Rights-of-Way Proposed 2009 MUTCD Why install APS?
