Review Historical Argumentation • Objectives: • To demonstrate an understanding of a time period that you are struggling with • To demonstrate an ability to identify what you do not know and need to work on • To explain a historical time period in a simplistic form • To demonstrate your ability in historical argumentation and the skills of evaluation and analysis • Agenda • Choose a Partner • Choose an FRQ from a time period you need to study • Read through the scoring commentary, the example 9 essay, and the rubric and outside information for your chosen FRQ • Design and create a children's book about your FRQ • Upcoming • Monday Review Lectures • Tuesday Practice Multiple choice Exam

Creating Your Children’s Book • You and your Partner (yes only two people) will have both periods to create a children’s book to demonstrate your understanding of a historical time period. • Directions: • Choose a Partner • Choose an FRQ from a time period you need to study • Read through the scoring commentary, the example 9 essay, and the rubric and outside information for your chosen FRQ • Design and create a children's book about your FRQ • Use your time wisely you only have these two periods (and yes the book must be in color) • This is an open ended project the purpose of which is to help you study without making your write more essays. Your books should still contain all the factual information you would have included in an FRQ essay. It should also contain an argumentlike you would have in an FRQ essay. You need to demonstrate your historical argumentationskills.
