Are tropical storms increasing as a result of climate change
Are tropical storms increasing as a result of climate change?

  • Scientists have found that increased greenhouse gases has led to

    a) global average temperatures

    b) increased sea-surface temperatures

  • There is evidence that shows that the number tropical storms have increased more rapidly between 1995 to 2005. E.g. in 2005 there were so many hurricanes they ran out of names (Katrina, Rita and Wilma were the big ones)
