Calculate your education loan amount eligibility The first step to fund your wish to study in New Zealand is to calculate the education loan amount you are eligible for. Put your co- borrower’s monthly income, their monthly obligations, the interest rate the lender has offered, and the repayment tenure of the education loan in the said calculator. Compare the lenders based on the kind and quality of their services Read reviews about financial lenders on the internet. See what praises or complaints the borrowers have for their lenders. Based on those reviews shortlist a few lenders for yourself. Visit the offices of those lenders and ask them about the maximum loan amount they will provide, the interest rate they would levy, the expenses they will cover, the moratorium period they will offer, etc. on their loans.
