3. MSC INTERMODAL SERVICES MTO IS DEFINED AS THE CARRIAGE OF GOODS COMBINING OCEAN & LAND TRANSPORTATION THROUGHT ONE BILL OF LADING UP TO AN INLAND DESTINATION

4. MULTIMODAL TRANSPORT OPERATION (MTO): The MTO operator is the direct responsible of the cargo until final destination. Reduce cost and time of delivery The cargo can arrive to a free zone or customs bonded warehouse where it can be customs cleared totally or partially. The MTO operator has the equipment responsibility all the time. 5. The MTO need only one transport document & one invoice for the total service. 6. The MTO offers the possibility of redelivery all the goods that are not cleared. 7. MTO helps to clear the port yard. MSC INTERMODAL SERVICES • INLAND TRANSPORT • The cargo is handled by several parties (shipper, line, customs, brokers, Inland transport, etc) • In case of delay, problems or calamity it is not always easy to define the responsible party . • Custom clearing and delivery process takes longer. • 100% of the cargo has to be customs cleared. • Cargo can't arrive to FREE ZONE.

8. MSC INTERMODAL SERVICES The rates published on the extranet page include • Use of port facilities. • 3 free calendar days for storage in port. • Customs formalities. • Container seals. • MTC closure. • 9 free days of container demurrages ( detention )

9. MSC INTERMODAL SERVICES These rates do not include • Container Stripping . • Inland transport insurance. • Insurance deductible. • Stand by after 12 hours at destination • Escort service (optional). • Additional Container movements (Inspections, seals verification, etc. • I.M.O. Charges. • Import customs duties. • Container charges such as cleaning, damages. • Demurrages cost for delay of container return from 10th calendar day after vessel arrival.

10.
