Taking down that barrier means your business can do very well on a global scale. Getting out of your comfort zone isn’t always easy, but the learn business English program can be a wonderful starting point. You can use that as a foundation and then continue to build on it and move through the tougher courses. It all depends on your ultimate goals for mastering the English language.

  2. Think about the big picture and the future. Can you use English to help you create better business contacts right now? Can you use it later on to climb the corporate ladder? Perhaps it can be a key skill you use to promote yourself when you want a new job or complete change in career path? When you see the many ways it can open doors for you, the commitment is easier to make. The format of the program also has to be explored. Do you want an online program? Do you want one where you sit down face to face with the instructor and other students? What would realistically fit your schedule the best? The goal should be to find a very good fit and to feel motivated to continue the learning process. Ask Questions The pace of the learn business English program should flow well. It shouldn’t be so slow you aren’t seeing progress. Yet it shouldn’t move too swiftly or you will have too many holes in your learning. You don’t want to get behind, so make sure you carve out time to attend the scheduled classes and to study. If concepts aren’t clear to you, ask for one on one help from the instructor. You can also set up study groups with other students. You need to figure out what is missing so you don’t have to build on it later and you have a shaky foundation. Focus on what you do know and don’t feel embarrassed to speak up when you don’t know something or it isn’t making sense to you. Practice In addition to the learn business English, you need to spend time practicing as often as you can. Have mock conversations in your head for a business meeting. Practice with your friends and
