  3. ACW: Assignments Schedule & Access • Regular use of our is a vital component of this course. Students may access our site from home, school, the public library, etc. • Activities and documents will be identified according to the following key on the . • “WD” Web (accessed) Document(Intermediate/Long-term Assignments w) due dates in 3+ days) • Students are expected to access &/or print these documents outside-of-class. • “CD” Class (distributed) Document(Short-term Assignments w) same-day &/or 1-2 day due dates) • Students are provided with these documents in class. class website calendar

  4. ACW: Assignment Punctuality & Process Due at beginning of class. Place in assignment tray on center table. Early = bonus credit • with adjustable scale. • Requires excellent quality to qualify.

ACW: Consultations 3Students are encouraged to take initiative in seeking assistance. 3“Office” hours are as follows: • A days: 1:20 p.m. - 2:20 p.m. • B days: 7:45 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. • After school: 2:45 p.m. -3:45 p.m. • availability is subject to change. 3It is important to prearrange with your teachers, receive written permission from excusing teacher and arrive with a hall pass.

  6. Please Remember… …Communication is very important. • Please keep me informed of any issue(s) that may be affecting your progress. • Ask for clarification of content, concepts, guidelines and expectations…BEFORE assignments are due.

Please also Remember… • We’re on a Bell-to-Bell schedule: • Class begins @ the opening bell & concludes @ the closing bell. • Upon entering class be prepared to respond to prompts. • If absent, check website, email instructor and ask a classmate about any missed work. • PPP(Proactive~Preventative~Preemptive) conferences will be scheduled--after-school--to develop a ‘success’ plan for any student falling behind. • Start strong, stay strong and finish strong. Let’s have a TERRIFIC year!

This will be your first Journal and will be collected separately from other Journal entries: Time limit is 10 minutes.
