If you drove a car, would you offer rides to people you had never met before? Why or why not?

  6. Exercise5 PREPARE, DISCUSS AND PRESENT • PREPARE: Try to make a list of questions you would need to ask a driver that offers ride sharing. Then act out a dialogue between your group (passengers) and a potential drivers. What would each groups probably like to know about each other? What would your fears and concerns be on both sides? Prepare a role-play between a driver and a passenger that has an unexpected ending or an unanticipated twist in the story. • DISCUSS: What are the pros and cons of ride-sharing. If you were to take a ride-share, where would you like to go? Explain your reasons. • FOLLOW-UP. Search the Internet to find out about car-pooling and how it is different from ride-sharing. Are there other forms of ride-sharing that have different structures? Compare your findings and discuss what are the advantages of each.
