  3. Parliamentary Placement Scheme What are we looking for? Second year students – single honours, joint or major/minor Competitive application process Not necessarily just academic high flyers Good ambassadors

  4. Parliamentary Placement Scheme Funding Awards of £250 will be given to successful candidates

  5. Parliamentary Placement Scheme How do I apply? Complete application form Curriculum Vitae Covering letter Passport sized photograph Deadline: Monday 11 November 2013

  6. Parliamentary Placement Scheme What happens next? Submit application by deadline - Monday 11 November Department to draw up shortlist and inform applicants Interviews conducted – Provisional date 3/4 December Shortlisted candidates informed of outcome Start matching students with MPs and AMs Once placement confirmed, MP or AM to contact student to finalise arrangements, accommodation and security pass
