Difference Between Conventional and Addressable Fire Alarm Systems

Conventional fire alarm systems cannot be relied on in big commercial buildings. An addressable fire alarm system with multiple fire detectors assigned for each zone is suitable for commercial buildings. All these detectors are connected to a central control panel which can locate the fire by reading the address of the detector that gave the signal.
