  2. Motivation We chose this topic because we are interested in flying things. Now, air planes fly in the sky but they consume a large amount of fuel. The seeds of Alsomitramacrocarpa have wings and they can fly very far. They don't need their own force to move.

  4. Experiment We prepared some models from styrofoam.

  5. We named them: Ks, Ms, and As (s means styrofoam) We dropped each model 10 times from 2.45m high.

  18. Consideration ①We can classify these models under two types. Model K & A → Straight flying Type “e” Model M → Wave flying Type “g” ②We should consider how to keep these models ; if they change their shape , their way of flying will change.

  19. Hopes ① We want to find what changes the way of flying between Type” e ” and Type” g ”. ②We want to find the relationship between the biological and physical mechanisms of these seeds.
