  1. Re-design this classroom with TQM - Assignment Adding Pizzazz to the Business Wing

  2. The Current State of 118 Look around

  3. Task • The Business wing was built in the 1960’s and it really hasn’t changed much since. • Mrs. Shatkosky is trying to generate ideas to re-vamp the classrooms in the business wing and she wants student input. • The rooms have served their purpose, but could they be better? • Of course, we never settle for the status quo with TQM

  4. Task • In groups of 2-3, your task is to redesign this classroom (118) from top to bottom to make it a better learning environment. No financial considerations are necessary. • How would you change the colour scheme, the lighting, the desks, the technology, and the organization in general. (Assume all you have to keep are the walls)

  5. Project Requirements • A ONE page (max) typed summary of all of the improvements you have made and an explanation of how your changes have improved the learning environment. • Some type of visual diagram showing the improvements you have made to Rm 118. (ie. A floor plan or a 3-d diagram). • A 10 minute (max) professional presentation to the class showcasing your ideas.
