WIRO Office: Ensuring Fair Workers' Compensation in NSW

The WorkCover Independent Review Office (WIRO), led by Paul Gregory, was established as part of the Workers Compensation Reforms in New South Wales and officially started operations on 1 October 2012. WIRO's key functions include investigating complaints filed by workers regarding decisions made by insurers, ensuring fairness and transparency in the workers' compensation system in NSW.

  4. ILARS Introduced to overcome s341 Amendments To facilitate access to free independent legal advice to injured workers, where there is a disagreement with insurers regarding entitlements. Legal Advice provided by external lawyers INTRODUCING WIRO
