  2. Story http://www.eastoftheweb.com/short-stories/UBooks/Inte.shtml This is the link to the story “The Interlopers” by Saki.

  3. Plot Ulrich is looking for his enemy Georg. He sees his enemy Georg, and are face to face. What they always wanted. But then a storm came, tree felt on top of them. Then they started fighting with words back and forward. After a while of agrueing they became friends. And then wolf came.

  4. Theme If you let hate get to strong it can destroy you and people around you.

  5. Point Of view The point of view in the story would be 3rd person because its another saying they story.

  6. Setting The setting and story take place in woods during the winter and a storm.

  7. Characterization Ulrich and Georg were full of anger and were upset with each other. But after wares they became friends.

  8. Inference At the end the two men died being friends. “Who are they?” asked Georg quickly, straining his eyes to see what the other gladly not have seen. “Wolves.” My inference is that both men got killed by the wolves. But they died being friends. “Neighbor, if you will help me to bury the old quarrel I – I will ask you to be my friend.” said Ulrich. So that would be my second inference that they became friends if they did died.

  9. Author Focus The author Saki focuses on setting during the story “The Interlopers”. He says “A fierce shriek of the storm had been answered by splitting crash over their heads, and ere they could leap aside a mass of falling beech tree had thundered down on them.” If the storm had never happen the trees wouldn’t never felt on top of Ulrich and Georg, and they wouldn’t have got over there anger and became friends. The author also uses phrases like “winter night” and “dark forest”. It give the reader suspense.
