  2. What is an ACL? • ACL stands for Anterior Cruciate Ligament. • Is one of four ligaments in the knee. • Located on the anterior part of knee (front of the knee) Hi I’m Fred!

How to Tear your ACL • This ligament can easily be injured or torn and causes major damage to your knee. • Most common way to tear it is to suddenly stop running so your foot pivots and your knee gets pushed back with great force to tear the ACL. • Or knee gets twisted with a valgus force (Knee Pushed inward).
