THE IDEA: -Finnish has 15 different noun cases , which are inflected forms of a noun . -They are hard to remember and it’s quite hard to learn or understand the idea of the parts of words . In the picture there is an example : Essive : Sairaana (as sick ) .

  2. Whatdidwedo? -We (I and Finnishteacher Hanna Rahko) gavestudents a form, whichwefilled in together. Weused the word ”mopo ”= a moped

  3. Thenweformedgroups and gavethem the task: • Make a Powerpoint ”movie”, which is a story, and whereeveryslidepresentsonegrammatical case. • Firstmake a plan on the paper • Thenwe made photograph studio wherewetookphotosand then made the slideshow.

  4. How itwent? • Wegave the students 2+1+2 lessons’ time for thispractise. Itwasenough. Theymanaged to produce 7-9 grammaticalcases. • Theyworkedveryenthusiastically! • Wehad a filmopeningfestival for them to teachsomemanners. • Fanni, Suvi and Marikki- show…
