  2. SER –to be • To describe a person’s characteristics, you must use a form of the verb “ser” with an adjective. The forms of the verb “ser” are:

  3. Adjetivos • Adjectives must agree in number and gender with the person or people being described. For example: • Marcos is tall. Marcos es alto. • Elena is tall. Elena esalta. • Marcos and Juan are tall. Marcos y Juan son altos. • Elena and Julia are tall. Elena y Julia son altas.

  12. Trabajadora Perezoso

  13. Quantifiers • Use words like bastante (quite), muy (very), and un poco(a little) in front of the adjective to quantify the description. • Example: Mauro esinteligente. Mauro esmuyinteligente. Rosa y Patricia son perezosas. Rosa y Patricia son un pocoperezosas.
