  1. Gateplus Time Attendance and Access Control System

Introduction Gateplus is a Time Attendance and Access control system capable of gathering time and attendance information and can be extended to provide campus management including visitor information management. The Gateplus solution includes both PC/Microcontroller/Mobile based access terminal and time attendance software. The system uses Smart Card, Bluetooth, Mobile number, Biometric, RFID, Barcode as identification mechanism. It supports distributed deployment by using serial,wireless internet, LAN based data transfer modes.

Features • Identification can be possible using Smart Card, Barcode, RFID • Online or periodic updates can be made. • Centralized data storage and monitoring • Confirms the entry by displaying the information and by • making the beep sound • Compact and sturdy design of instrument • Can be mounted easily anywhere near the entrance • Can be interfaced with electronic lock • Interface with payroll software

Product Models • Gateplus Access Terminal can be classified mainly as • Microntroller Based • These terminals have their own memory and can maintain records • The data get transferred to central PC over Serial/Wireless link • PC need not be on always • PC Based • These need a PC and reader is attached on serial/usb port of the PC • This need PC to be on always

Connectivity Options • In Gateplus the data can be transferred from main terminal to PC using following methods • Serial ( RS 232 ) • Here the Serial cable is connected with the device to PC • SMS • Here SIM card is installed into the system. An optional GSM module needs to be added into the system and which transfers data using SMS • Over serial to one PC and than over Internet/LAN to a remote office • Bluetooth • Using Bluetooth Phone user can enter time record which gets recorded by Bluetooth dongle attached on the PC.

SMS Versions – How it works ? • Gateplus has 2 sms version • In one user can send SMS from their phone to a fixed mobile number and which is recorded as In or Out time stamp • Microcontroller terminal which generates SMS whenever a punch record is generated • At Central Office, SMS are automatically collected by Cellapps Software and entered into Gateplus Software • Gateplus Software generates the necessary reports

How to configure multiple office over internet ? • Gateplus has a client server software module which allows to configure Gateplus at different office. • Client software will run at each office and it will collect data for that office • The client will send data to server at regular interval • Gateplus software at server location helps to generate different kinds of reports

  13. Payroll Software Integration • We can customize the system with any existing payroll system provided details of the same are available at additional cost. • We have 3rd party payroll software available also.
