Chromebook is one of the Hp business laptops, it is specially designed for your business workflow. Hp Chromebook is the best for writing and project purpose as it is made for businesses and can load heavy files in minutes. When your Chromebook’s operating system isn’t working accurately, you can remove it and then recover its removing and reinstall the operating system. The points that indicate you to recover your OS are an error message saying “Chrome OS is missing or damaged” and “you have tried other troubleshooting steps and nothing has fixed your issue”.

Before beginning the steps, you need another laptop or desktop with chrome installed. • A USB flash drive that has at least 8GB of available space is required or an SD card, if your device has SD card slot. • Now do follow the below-listed steps to recover your Hp Chromebook- Sign-in to your device: • Turn off your hp laptop and then turn it on. • If it still has an error, put your laptop in the factory settings.

Download a new copy of the Operating System: • Do this process on another computer. • Launch the Chrome and access the recovery application. • Tap on get started and then select your model from the listed options or you can enter the model number of your Chromebook and select it from the result. • Press ‘continue’ and inserts a USB drive or SD card. • Select the flash drive or card and click on continue. • Choose to Create now. • When the data is completely transferred to the drive and you see the message saying the recovery media is ready, remove it.

Enter recovery mode: • Remove all the peripheral connected to your Chromebook like a mouse, external hard drive, printer etc. • Press down the Esc key and refresh your device, turn off your laptop. Now turn on your system after you see a message. • Then insert the drive that you used to create recovery media and follow the instruction carefully.
