  1. THE HISTORY OF THE UPPER EAST SIDE LUXURY CONDOMINIUM sometimes known as the UES by locals, is a Manhattan area famed for it s parks, museums, and luxurious apartments. It's easy to forget that the Lenape fished and lived on this land before the Dutch arrived in the 1600s when looking at the opulent residences, attractive cafes, and busy pubs and restaurants that line 2nd Avenue. After that, the land was passed back and forth between the Dutch and the British, but one thing remained constant: the current Upper East Side area was used for farming. That is, until 1837, when a newly constructed New York and Harlem Railroad station encouraged commercialization by making travel more accessible. 86th Street became a key road and eventually became the primary artery of Little Germany, or what is now known as Yorkville, and is still a hub today. As we go over some of the best things to do in the Upper East Side, we'll talk about the area's German past. The Upper East Side began to be recognized as an exclusive area in the early 1900s, with prior residents including the Astors, Rockefellers, Kennedys, Roosevelts, Carnegies, and others. This wealth can still be observed today. Fortunately, for the average New Yorker or a visitor looking to unwind and have a good time, there are plenty of Upper East Side activities to choose from. CONCLUSION There are the opulent mansions and Upper East Side luxury Condominium along Central Park that only the very wealthy can afford. However, suppose you walk away from the park and toward the East River. In that case, you can discover reasonably priced property for middle-class ambiance.
