Objectives of governmental surveillance • Prevention of violations of the requirements of technical regulations, standards, agreed obligations and documental statements on the products (services) quality • Prevention of violations of the rules of the mandatory conformity confirmation • Prevention of violations of the metrological norms

  9. Governmental surveillance is planning taking into account: Priority trends for governmental surveillance specified by Gosstandart; Coordination republican plan, approved by Coordination Board for control activity in the Republic; unscheduled tasks, carried out by the Government initiative on the initiative of law machinery and controlling units on complaints of customers.

Interaction of State surveillance bodies • with societies for consumer’s rights protection • with customs bodies; - with bodies of the Ministry of Health; - with bodiesof the Ministry of agriculture and food; - with taxation bodies; • with bodiesof the State surveillance committee; • withlabour inspection; - With certification bodies; and other law enforcement bodies.

  11. State surveillance bodies take parts: • In carrying out of acceptance tests of new type products; • In issuing resolutions on readiness for products manufacturing; • In production assessment with the purposes of license issuing;
