For us as the School of Geography, the name Te Iho Whenua symbolises our focus on the interwoven human and physical processes that constitute the environment.

The Guardian Studying geography arms graduates with a mix of skills employers want to see… The degree helps develop a wide range of employability skills numeracy teamwork through regular field trips analytical skills in the lab a certain technical savviness through using various specialist computing applications Cultivates a world view and a certain cultural sensitivity Geography graduates stand out in the labour market
