What actuallyis BI? • BI (like most HEIs) is a big, complex organisation • It does not fit the profile of a traditional business school • Everybody has their own ideas about • What we do • What we used to do (i.e. “the good old days”) • What we are good at • What we should be doing • These ideas are based largely on opinions, biases, employment history and narrow viewpoints
